Celery and Peanut Salad

Ingredients

300 g celery, 200 g peanuts.

Seasonings

250 g vegetable oil (15 g actual consumption), 15 g soy sauce, 15 g Sichuan pepper oil, 5 g salt, 2 g MSG.

Instructions

1. Remove the roots and leaves from the celery, wash it, cut into 3 cm (about 1 1/4 inch) pieces, blanch in boiling water, then remove and rinse with cold water; drain well. Arrange the celery pieces in a circular pattern around the edge of a plate, then pile the peanuts in the center of the celery ring.

2. Heat vegetable oil in a wok, add the peanuts and deep-fry until crispy, then remove and peel off the skins. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, salt, MSG, and Sichuan pepper oil, then pour this dressing over the celery. Toss everything together just before serving. This dish is aromatic, crispy, savory, and refreshing.
