Green Beans with Sesame Sauce

Ingredients

250 g fresh green beans (about 1/2 lb)

Seasonings

25 g salt, 25 g Sichuan pepper oil, 100 g sesame paste, a pinch of MSG, and 15 g minced ginger.

Instructions

1. Remove the strings from the green beans, snap them into pieces, and wash thoroughly. Blanch them in boiling water until cooked through, then soak in cold water. Drain well and place in a mixing bowl.

2. Dilute the sesame paste with cold boiled water into a smooth paste, heat the Sichuan pepper oil until hot, then combine with salt, MSG, and minced ginger, pour this mixture over the green beans, toss well, and arrange on a plate. This dish is vibrant green in color with a delightful aroma and flavor.
