Ingredients
1 pear, half a cucumber, 100 g (about 3.5 oz) celery.
Seasonings
White sugar and white vinegar, each to taste.
Instructions
1. First, wash the celery, peel off the outer skin and remove the strings, then cut into small strips. Blanch in boiling water for one minute, then remove and plunge into cold water. Drain and set aside.
2. Peel and core the pear, wash and dry the cucumber, then cut both into strips the same size as the celery.
3. Place the sliced pear, cucumber, and celery in a bowl, add white sugar and white vinegar to taste, then toss to combine. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least half an hour before serving. However, note that all three ingredients are cooling in nature, so those with a weak or cold stomach should not eat too much.
