Ingredients
150 g (about 5 oz) jellyfish, 5 g each of garlic chives, scallions, and red bell pepper rings, 200 g (about 7 oz) green bell pepper rings.
Seasonings
40 g water, 20 g white sugar, 15 g light soy sauce, 10 g peanut oil, 5 g MSG, 6 g Maggi seasoning, 3 g each Thai fish sauce and Kikkoman soy sauce, mixed together to form the seasoning sauce.
Instructions
1. Rinse the green and red bell peppers clean and cut them into rings; soak the jellyfish to remove the salty taste, slice them, then blanch in 60°C (140°F) hot water.
2. Mix the pepper rings with minced garlic and spread them on a plate, then layer the sliced jellyfish on top. Pour hot peanut oil over everything to release the aroma, add the seasoning sauce, toss well, and serve. This dish is crisp and refreshing, with a savory flavor that stimulates the appetite.
