Chilled Vinegar-Marinated Mackerel

Ingredients

250 g Japanese mackerel, 500 g shaved ice (about 1 lb), 1 orange.

Seasonings

Japanese grilling sauce 15 g, soy sauce 10 g, rose wine, Maggi seasoning, and Japanese rice vinegar 8 g each.

Instructions

1. Remove the head and bones from Japanese mackerel, keeping the skin on, then marinate the fillets in Japanese teriyaki sauce, Maggi seasoning, rose wine, Japanese rice vinegar, minced garlic, and minced onion for 2 hours to absorb the flavors.

2. Place the mackerel in the oven and roast for about 20 minutes, then remove and let it cool.

3. Place shaved ice and parsley on a plate for decoration, then slice the mackerel and orange separately, arrange them overlapping on the ice plate, and serve with soy sauce on the side. This dish is refreshing yet rich, cool and delicious, with a beautiful presentation.
