Shredded Turnip with Hawthorn Cake

Ingredients

100 g hawthorn cake (sweet and tangy Chinese haw jelly), 300 g (about 10.5 oz) daikon radish.

Seasonings

White granulated sugar to taste.

Instructions

1. Shred the white radish, toss with sugar, and let marinate for 10 minutes; shred the hawthorn cake.

2. Drain the marinated shredded radish, then toss with the shredded hawthorn cake and serve.
