Ingredients
100 g each of apple, pear, and pineapple, 150 g of oranges, and 15 each of red and green maraschino cherries.
Seasonings
250 g (about 1 1/4 cups) white sugar.
Instructions
1. Peel and core the apple and pear, then cut into small pieces; cut the pineapple into small pieces; separate the orange into segments and place all fruit in a shallow dish, gently mix together, then garnish with red and green cherries on top.
2. Wash the wok clean, add 150 g (about 2/3 cup) of water and 250 g (about 1 1/4 cups) of white sugar, and cook until the syrup thickens to the consistency of honey, then pour into a bowl and let cool.
3. When serving, pour the prepared syrup over the fruit.
