The outer surface of the pericarp is brownish-yellow, relatively smooth on the back, with a slightly concave spot on each side near the depression, from which radial stripes extend outward. The seeds are orange segment-shaped and kidney-shaped, with a seed coat ranging from black to brownish-brown.
